| what do you guys think of hip hop right now?
Props to anyone out there doing it, but there really isnt anyone im feeling atm tbh, i think the newest person who made me go out and buy an album was kanye, kanye isnt exactly the best rapper but it was a refreshing change to hip hop after the bling and gun talk shit that has been dominating the scence. Now it's like everyone is rapping to a dance beat and shit, personally i think someone like primo, dre, high tek need to put out some proper hip hop beats. i feel music wise kanye was big on the rapping/producing side till he dropped he's last auto tune album.
Is there anyone out there atm who's lyrical, and rhyming over true hip hop beats? and not talking the same old money, guns killing shit, or is that too big an ask?

| Wu are still doing it? the last album i got was 8 diagrams. i heard the new red and meth blackout 2 but im not feeling it. Cam gets on some amazing beats, i mean the beats cam raps to are different!!!! Im just not feeling cam as a rapper anymore, but then again i havnt heard anything recent, Banks i love banks, when it comes to freestlyes and when he featured on other tracks with g unit, and a few of he's old tracks but again i havnt heard anything from him recently, and the same with fab, i used to have a shit load of fabolous freestlyes but i had one of he's albums i think it was called "losos way" or something but i wernt really feeling it. It might be me man im probably not looking hard enough. You feeling buck? i never liked buck but i heard the track "riding down the freeway" im all over that track at the moment. | |

| Kanye West is back, so i'm bumping a lot of his shit till i cop the new album. Fab still has it locked. Banks got it too.
Warbux, been listening to him a lot, and going back to listening to Canibus/DZK. Slaughterhouse when they drop literally distroy people, same with Sean P.
Celph Titled bringing it raw, Vinnie Paz, Lord Lhus, Block McCloud.
Less significant, JakProgresso.
UK hmm, it's losing it's edge, i liked UK cos' they were making different music, now they are just all trying to sound too street with 'ya get me blud' accents. What happened to Jehst, what happened to Random Badbones? Feeling Rhyme Asylum, feeling Children Of The Damned. Billy White.. etc..
Who knows, Hip Hop has major talent but all the talent hides.
